Stardate: November 4 2007 As the Weather Turns

We're keeping warm. It has turned a bit cold here. It's like 40 now, but tomorrow the temp will be 35 degrees. Thankfully, we went to the "big" market and purchased a winter coat for me. It was very expensive, but we are counting it as a lifetime investment and souvenir. It is a gorgeous black leather and fur coat. Most of the coats here are fur; it's actually funny that the stereotypical image of "Russia" is of furs and such, but that still hold true here in Ukraine. There were gorgeous full-length fur coats in mink, chinchilla, etc for about $1,000. Can you believe it?

Maddy has a whole-body snow suit that Patrick purchased for her. Pat has a good gor-tex lined Wisconsin coat and a fur hat we picked up at the big market when we first arrived. Yesterday, we got a couple pairs of angora mittens for Maddy for when she loses the ones she has. So, I think we are all set. Anyway, our apartment is as hot as the Sahara, so I don't think that will be a problem. We actually have to keep windows open all the time in order to regulate the heat!

Apt is as hot as Sahara or 620 Floral?

Nothing can be as hot as 620 Floral! They don't produce that kind of energy here!

Pat notice you answered the question (via the time stamp) before I asked it? Twilight zone.
